If that picture doesn’t scream “autumn is here” then I don’t know what does. (Apart from a forest of trees showing off their fall colours, but I wasn’t near a forest!) I have to say that I loved the new table service scenario at @exetersacredgrounds - Hayley was so welcoming and rocking a dreamy vintage shoulder padded blouse like any 80’s business woman would! I am literally searching eBay right now for something similar! 🤍 I must draw your attention to the chocolate, date and peanut slice too.. omg! That thing is well worth the calories! Head over this weekend before it’s all gone.

Today I headed up to the moors with the family. A pre lunch stomp up Meldon Hill, Chagford followed by a hearty lunch at @the_globe_inn_chagford - The sun was shining, the autumnal colours in the trees and plants were in full effect. It was just what I needed. I am now pretty much lying prone on the lounge floor completely stuffed from lunch. Supper will not be required tonight that’s for sure.

I always love my little Totnes visits.. today my sister @estellashardlow and I spent a few hours eating, drinking and shopping our way around this gorgeously eccentric Devon town. We had a rather delicious lunch at the @bullinn_totnes followed by coffee at the @the.hairy.barista and a spot of shopping at my favourite shop in Totnes right now, @meandeast - Estella and I left with numerous goodies for ourselves and our homes all sourced and made locally. @meandeast is a must visit shop if you are in Totnes in my opinion. I also picked up a couple of bottles of wine from @wineandgreene to take home for the weekend. What excited me the most was their display of Chin Chin. A firm favourite with my friends and I. Totnes, I had a great day so thank you for being you in all your quirky and exciting if not different ways. Here’s to our next visit. May it come sooner rather than later. 🥂

Not a bad way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Yesterday I organised a little afternoon tea in the early autumn sunshine with my friend Emma and her mum An opportunity to show them around the new pad whilst catching up on news. The previous Covid lockdown meant that I hadn’t seen them for months and it was so lovely to finally get together. I am praying that we don’t get completely locked down again but with the rapid rise in cases of late who knows. 🙏🏻 If we all follow the current guidelines and don’t flout the rules we stand a much better chance of getting through the autumn & winter unscathed. Who’s with me!? I have never been much of a rule breaker in any aspect of my life so won’t be starting now. I stick to the speed limits, I stay behind the yellow line, i always turn inwards at the barre, i wait my turn, I wear my mask .. you get the idea! Some might say I am boring but I just don’t like getting into trouble! 😂
