The Good Life Farm Shop – Kings Worthy

We stopped by The Good Life Farm Shop on the Saturday of the Easter weekend. It was busy but not so bad that you couldn’t take your time to browse and shop. I had wanted to pick up some souvenirs of my visit to Hampshire and my aunt and uncle had recommend The Good Life. It was about a ten minute drive from their house in the centre of Winchester. The Good Life is situated in a place called Kings Worthy which is a short drive out of the city. We had a good mooch around the farm shop and I picked up some lovely goodies. Cheese and chutney from the Isle of White and jam from Southampton. I also picked up some rather yummy Apple and ginger juice from Hill Farm based in Swanmore. The lady I spoke to who was giving tasters of the various juices said they were from about 15 miles away from the farm shop. Perfect!

There were various baby animals to look at and pet whilst we were there. I assumed they were there for the children on Easter holidays but I was not going to let that stop me get my fair share of pictures and animal time. That was quite possibly one of the highlights of my trip to Hampshire. I just adore animals and when they are tiny babies it makes it all the better. They were so cute and adorable. I didn’t want to leave!

When Lorraine and Dai (my aunt and uncle) eventually pulled me away from the animals we settled up our food bills and made our way home. What a lovely little unexpected treat whilst shopping for local goodies.
