My Week In Pictures 50/17

My week in pictures

Happy Sunday all! My week has been largely focused on jewellery. My gorgeous and very talented friend Gemma heads up her jewellery company, Cabinet from her Devon home and that’s where I was on Tuesday this week. We spent the day organising her beautiful British made jewels ready for our collaboration. This meant that I could ignite my creative side with a little photo shoot for some promotional images. I was really pleased with our results.

We couldn’t spend the day being creative without getting our bottoms in the kitchen. Fish finger sarnies with homemade boiled egg tartare sauce were on the menu and can I just say “they were divine”!

Thursday was collaboration day. Gemma and I work so well together. I guess it’s because we have known each other for such a long time now. We spent the best part of the day doing what we do best. Styling, baking and curating a perfect pop up shop in my lounge!

If you see anything you like and you couldn’t make the pop-up, then please get in touch and I will get back to you.

On Saturday I headed down to Dartington to soak up the festivities at their Christmas Fair. I met my friend Carmen who lives nearby to share the experience.

From Dartington, we headed back to her house with a little stop of at Bens Farm Shop on route for some yummy lunch items. You also can’t go to Carmen’s house without picking some veggies from her allotment. This time it was the turn of some spectacularly sweet, whopping carrots! We made a yummy salad to have alongside our goat’s cheese and my favourite bread from The Almond Thief.

Next Sunday’s Week In Pictures will fall on Christmas Eve. I can’t quite believe it, can you? I will be serving lunch to Steve’s parents and then the afternoon and evening will be an open house for friends and family to drop by. Hopefully, it will all flow smoothly without any hiccups.

In between now and then I will be getting things organised in the house, putting up the tree and trying to fit in a few fun things in and around my hectic work schedule. I hope you all have a fun-filled week planned too. Don’t work too hard!
