Feta & Pumpkin Dip – Perfect For Festive Entertaining

Feta & Pumpkin Dip - Perfect For Festive Entertaining

Hello everyone. It’s been a few weeks since I’ve touched base despite saying to myself I would post more here on the blog. I have all the intentions but it’s been pretty manic what with one thing and another. That being said, I am here now and very much looking forward to sharing this delicious dip that is perfect for this time of year. It shouts autumn with the flavours and can most definitely run up to Christmas if you have entertaining on the cards.

I honestly love this time of year so much. Not how busy it is everywhere with the Christmas shoppers but with that sense of cosiness that you get when the leaves start to fall and the sun drops lower in the sky and gives everything that wonderful golden glow. That autumnal golden hour outweighs every other season’s golden hour in my opinion.

This recipe will take you into the festive party season with a bang. It takes no time to prepare and really is delicious. You can serve it as a centrepiece with lots of crudités, crackers and crisps or dollop a small amount on a seeded cracker with an extra sprinkle of feta cheese, nuts and seeds as an easy party canapé. It would be fab on a baked potato too!

I was kindly sent some wonderful products from Cornish dairy Trewithen to sample. This delicious creation was inspired by them. Trewithen Dairy is a family business and the Clarke family pride themselves on the quality of milk their cows produce. Said milk creates THE best clotted cream in my opinion as well as yoghurt, butter and pretty much any dairy deliciousness in between. You can shop with them online and have their products delivered directly to your home or look out for it on your next supermarket visit. It’s stocked in Tesco and Morrisons as well as numerous little local stores. I always have a stock of their butter to hand and like I said before, their clotted cream is simply wonderful. If you are a coffee drinker and like to create barista quality coffees at home you need to get your hands on their whole milk. It makes the best froth and foam you could wish for!
