Matcha Green Tea Porridge

My matcha love continues with this delicious and satisfying porridge. I love the way matcha turns everything it graces with that wonderfully green hue. It’s a vision of beauty first thing in the morning!

Obviously there are numerous health benefits too that I have written about in previous matcha recipe posts. Matcha can boost energy levels and create a feeling of calm. It is full of antioxidants that protect your body from free radical damage that can lead to many serious diseases like cancer, dementia and heart disease.

Try this simple and quick recipe using either water or a milk of your choice. It’s delicious either way in my opinion. The milk adds a creaminess that you obviously don’t get with water. Using water or a plant based milk makes this recipe vegan too.
