Toast For All

Toast For All

I recently got to try the new Heart Of Nature white Quinoa bread. I can safely say I am now a convert. Heart of Nature bread is a unique vegan loaf jam packed with super seeds, whole grains and protein packed white quinoa. Heart of Nature claim to produce one of the healthiest breads in the world as each loaf packs a punch with health boosting whole grains and seeds.

Each slice is full of vitamins including C, E, B6, A and F plus brain enhancing omega 3 oils. The loaves are baked with zero added sugar, additives or GMO.  So you can be sure of a delicious healthy bite each mouthful.

Bread like this deserves to be showcased and I went nuts one afternoon with my toppings. I wanted to create little morcels full of taste, flavour and colour. I firmly believe that you eat with your eyes and if something looks delicious it makes you want to experience the flavours for yourself. Hummus, feta and Za’tar dip with veggies galore were my toppings of choice. However you really can experiment with whatever you fancy. The brighter the colour, the prettier these toasted open sandwiches look don’t you think? I served these alongside some delicious white wine from Dalwood Vineyard as a pre barbecue appetiser. They went down a storm with my guests as you can imagine. They would also be great at breakfast, brunch, lunch or supper with whatever sweet or savoury toppings your heart desires.

Each loaf is made to a traditional Polish recipe where bread is held in high regard. I think once you sample a loaf then you will think the same way. It’s too good to pass up. Pure and simple!

You can purchase a limited range from Waitrose at £2.99 or find the full range in WholeFoods priced around £3.99. Alternatively you can order online at www.puregrainbread.com.

Disclaimer; I was sent some Heart Of Nature white Quinoa bread to sample. I was not paid for this post and all views are my own as always.
