My Week In Pictures 32/17

Oh my goodness! What a way to start my week. I made a massive stack of pancakes, smothered them in The Groovy Food Company Agave Syrup, fruit and Delamare Dairy Yogurt then shared them with Steve and my friend Sarah.

Feeling very full from brunch, Steve and I waddled down to the station to catch a train to Totnes. We had been invited to an English wine tasting with Emerging Vines. A new venture for two local lads, Josh and Tommy, who had an outstanding knowledge of English wines and cheeses.

After being met at the station by our friend Duncan from Sharpham Vineyard we drove to the most idyllic spot on the River Dart. We were so lucky as the weather gods were smiling on us, providing us with beautiful sunshine for the duration of the afternoon. We were treated to wines from Devon and Cornwall with local cheeses that complimented the flavours exquisity. I couldn’t have been happier. The setting was perfect and my knowledge of English wines and cheeses was expanding with every drop and every bite. A full post will follow but check out these photos in the mean time.

I have been doing a lot of recipe testing this past week. I received a box of delicious veggies from Shillingford Organics which has given me so much inspiration. I will be writing up the recipes and posting them over the next few weeks so watch out for those.

Next week Steve and I have a friend visiting for a few days so I wonder where we will end up.. I am always on the lookout for new places to visit so if you can recommend anywhere that is in Devon, Cornwall or Dorset leave a comment! I would love to hear your recommendations.

Don’t forget to check out my Instagram and Twitter feeds for more up to date goings on. Have a fabulous week everyone! Bye for now.
