My Week In Pictures 41/17

I was lucky enough to be sent some new Whole Berry Juices from Ocean Spray. They certainly brightened up breakfast last week. Thicker than regular juices but thinner than a smoothie. They are a great addition to your breakfast table when you don’t have time to make your own. Ocean Spray crush 40 cranberries into every glass to preserve the goodness and nutrients. So good next to my boiled eggs and soldiers.

On Sunday Steve and I caught the train to Starcross and walked back to Powderham Castle for their annual food festival. The sun was beating down and you could have mistaken this early October day for the height of summer. Powderham Food Festival must have the most beautiful home of any food festival. With views our over the Exe Estuary and set amongst the gardens and rooms of the castle. It really is a spectacle.

I have a fabulous competition running at the moment in conjunction with a Princesshay Bees and their fabulous honey. If you love shopping or eating then how about you enter for your chance to win a £50 Princesshay Gift Card? Available to redeem in up to 70 outlets in Princesshay, Exeter. All you need to do is sign up to my mailing list and leave a comment saying how you love to use honey. Click here to be directed to the competition page. Good luck!

Steve and I caught the train to Totnes on Friday afternoon for a late lunch at Ben’s Wine And Tapas. It was the start of his birthday celebrations. The rest is top secret so I can’t divulge this week but next week I will tell you all. We had the most delicious tapas alongside some quaffable French red. It was a fabulous way to spend a Friday afternoon.

Next week I will have so much to fill you in on. All the birthday celebrations as well as brunch at Harrys, one of my Exeter favourite spots and a foodie extravaganza up in the moors with two of my favourite girlfriends. Have a fabulous week everyone.
